New Lodge Farm Caravan/Camp Site, Farm Shop and Eatery are set in an attractive rural location at the heart of Rockingham Forest Northamptonshire, just outside the 17th century village of Bulwick.
The traditional mixed farm has been in the Singlehurst family for over 98 years and now focuses very much on Aberdeen Angus Cattle and Sheep, production using traditional organic methods.
The farm is run by husband and wife team Simon and Sarah Singlehurst. An award winning Farm Shop, Butchery and Eatery was opened 16 years ago. April 2014 saw the opening of the exclusively adult site for touring caravans, motorhomes and tent campers. The site was hugely well received and a new chapter in the New Lodge Farm story was begun .
The site makes use of redundant old stone farm barns which have been beautifully brought back to life to house toastie warm shower and toilet facilities, a large dish washing room and laundry.
Nestled between the old market towns of Stamford, Oundle, Uppingham and Market Harborough, there is plenty to see and do.
The site offers a choice of both hard standing and grass pitches, all are fully serviced and include 16amp electric hooks-ups. From the site visitors are able to enjoy beautiful views of the working farm, its livestock and the surrounding countryside. Dogs are most welcome with a private one acre dog walk for everyone's enjoyment.
The Farm Shop, Cafe and Bar truly set this site apart from others.
Begin the weekend with a pre-dinner drink followed by our popular Friday Night Farmhouse Supper, comprising a choice of two homemade dishes & dessert.
At the weekend you can start your day with a Farmhouse Cooked Breakfast, including home made dry cured bacon and award winning Singlehurst sausages! Home cooked brunches, lunches and snacks are available until 4:30pm.
The Farm Shop is renowned for its high quality fresh meat, an extensive fruit & veg selection is also available at weekends.
So come and relax in our bar area, dogs most welcome.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
